Now that's not exactly the way a lot of people think about angels today. And it's a hard thing for us to relate to. But what would it do to our expectation that institutions might change for the better, become life-giving, if we just imagined IBM and the government and our own churches and families each having at its heart a living entity created by God that has the potential for good as well as bad, just like we do? |
