Description: Nothing seems to us more pathetic than a person with no home. There is a lost, forsaken look in the eyes of the homeless that makes us want to turn away. We can imagine homelessness only as a dull ache, a throbbing pain tin the soul.
It is quite possible that the First Letter of Peter was written to Christians suffering from Homelessness. They were not at home in the world. The church was for them "a home away from home."
The Seven Sessions are: Born to Hope, An Appeal for Nonconformity, Living Honorable, Sharing Christ's Sufferings, Sober Stewards of God's Gifts, Suffering Positively Interpreted, and Assessing Our Polity.
Age Groups: None specified.
