Description: The Apostle Paul wrote the book of Galatians to explain how trusting in Christ gives us true freedom - freedom from legalism and freedom from sin. He sets forth his argument against trusting in the Law itself for salvation: the Law taught that salvation would come from the Messiah alone. Paul presents examples from the Old Testament that help us understand the eternal gospel and how the temporary period of the Law pointed to faith in the same gospel. After explaining our total freedom in Christ, Paul goes on to tell us what this freedom means in practical terms. The six programs cover the six chapters of Galatians as follows:
1. Paul, and Apostle of God's Gospel (ch. 1) *
2. Peter, an Apostle to the Jews (ch. 2) *
3. Abraham, The Man of Faith (ch. 3:1-25) *
4. Sarah, Mother of the Free (ch. 3:26-4:31) *
5. The Spirit, the Lord of the Free (ch. 5) *
6. Brothers, the Family of Believers (ch. 6) *
Each segment is approximately 15 minutes.
